My short story
Like most Europeans, I was sure that America was the land of innovation. So as soon as I finished my Fine Arts studies, I caught a plane to California.
Not long after I graduated from Art Center College of Design, I realized that to work in California, meant working on car accounts. Luckily, I’ve always had a passion for fast machines. So I was thrilled to work on brands like Honda, Lexus, Kia, Cadillac, Lincoln, and Mercedes Benz. But my career hasn’t been all sheet metal. I’ve also had the opportunity to work on New York Stock Exchange, Rossignol, Beringer Wines, Oppenheimer Funds, Dell Computers, Lucas Arts, Nordstrom and Sempra Energy. On Disney Entertainment, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Artemide, San Francisco Magazine and The Heart Institute. And on non-profits, including Heal the Bay and Child Help and PictureEarth.
I’ve been on staff and had my own studio (Concept Soup). I’ve been the hired gun, the Creative Design Director and the strategic partner. I’ve even been the Director of Photography. This complementary collection of talents has proven to be invaluable as more than once it has been critical to have the vision and the skill to create a direction that is as attainable as it is beautiful.
When I’m not unraveling marketing riddles for my clients, I’m usually traveling, seeking out new adventures, using my camera to record the scenery and faces that inspire the story line of my own personal and professional visual narrative.
